Our Story
Along the west coast of St. Croix - Crafted From Cane, Rooted in Culture.
Opened in June 2025, Prosperity Farm Distillery shares the rich flavors and traditions of St. Croix with visitors and locals alike. Our family-friendly farm offers something for adults and kids of all ages. Explore our lush fields on guided farm tours, watch our sugar cane as it is harvested and milled each morning. Learn how we handcraft the freshly squeezed cane juice into sugar cane spirits in our Vendome copper pot stills. In our thoughtfully remodeled and air-conditioned Farmhouse Bar & Tasting Room, sample our freshly made spirits. Enjoy views of the sea, the idyllic farm, and grand mahoganies and an ambiance built by preserving centuries-old old hand-hewn beams. Our beautiful mahogany bar was created by local craftsmen. Whether you’re planning a special event in our scenic venue spaces or simply enjoying the taste of island-crafted products, Prosperity Farm invites you to experience the best of St. Croix in one unforgettable destination.

Our Farm

Using modern tractors and harvesters our farmers plant, cultivate and harvest several crops each year, on the largest working farm in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Sugar cane is harvested most days at 7:30am and milled at 10:00am. If you’re on-island and awake then you’re welcome to come and watch!
Farm-stay Accommodations
Completely renovated historic cottages in The Village at Prosperity Farm feature modern, yet cozy, cottage-style air-conditioned units where guests can enjoy overnight stays surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of our farm. Also, overlooking the farm is Henderson Villa, a modern 3,500 sq. ft. air-conditioned home with 180-degree views of ocean sunsets.

Which products do you make at the distillery?
Prosperity Farm Distillery specializes in small-batch, handcrafted spirits made from non-GMO sugarcane, fruits, and botanicals. Almost all ingredients are farmed, harvested, distilled and bottled on-site at historic Estate Prosperity in Frederiksted, St. Croix .
Is Prosperity Farm Distillery the only farm-to-bottle distillery on St. Croix?
Yes — Prosperity Farm Distillery is the true farm-to-bottle distillery on St. Croix. We are the only distillery that crafts spirits from crops we grow right here on the farm. Everything from planting and harvesting the sugarcane, to milling, fermenting, and distilling, happens right on the farm. This hands-on process ensures that every bottle reflects the island’s rich agricultural heritage and delivers an authentic taste of St. Croix.
Can visitors sample the spirits produced at the distillery?
Absolutely. During all of our tours, guests can enjoy a flight of six handcrafted spirits along with a premium cocktail. The tasting experience is complemented by a guided tour that explores the farm distillery's sustainable practices and the rich history of Estate Prosperity.
