The Village
Whether you’re seeking a peaceful escape or a convenient base for exploring the island, the farm and its surroundings, the village cottages provide an inviting and memorable stay.
Prosperity Farm offers charming, completely renovated, air-conditioned cottages nestled in the heart of the farm’s fruit and vegetable gardens. Each unit blends rustic farm charm with modern comforts (like Starlink Internet and Whisper-quiet mini-split AC’s), creating a welcoming atmosphere for short stays, weekend getaways, or extended visits. The Village units allow guests to experience the tranquility of farm life while being just steps away from the farm’s activities, markets, and community events. They are also just a few steps away from Rainbow Beach.

What makes the rental units at Prosperity Farm unique?
Our rental units offer guests an immersive farm experience. Staying here means you’re not just visiting—you can participate in daily farm life, enjoy scenic views, and feel connected to the rhythms of the farm.
Is it possible to help with farming?
Absolutely. Guests have the option to assist our staff with select farm tasks, from planting and harvesting to caring for farm animals. This is a fun and educational way to experience farm life firsthand, but with a Caribbean twist.
Can guests join farm tours or activities?
Yes! All guests are invited to join guided farm tours where they can learn about our crops, farm animals, and sustainable practices. Tours provide a hands-on look at the farm’s operations and crops.

What Beaches and other amenities are at or near the Farm?
Guests are welcome to swim and snorkel at adjoining Rainbow Beach. Snorkels, masks and beach chairs are available for rent. The Rainbow Beach restaurant (called “Rhythms”) serves fresh fish, awesome burgers (and 40 more items) for lunch and dinner seven-days a week. Most guests walk from their Village cottage to the Beach. For our visitors interested in scenic hikes, the Caledonia Rainforest and Sprat Hall Nature Preserve is a five-minute drive away, with over 4 miles of beautifully maintained trails. If you’d like to more broadly explore all of what St. Croix has to offer, we suggest renting a car, and our in-cottage guide offers great tips on snorkeing, restaurants, hikes, shopping, and more.
