81C Arts at Prosperity Farm Distillery
At Prosperity Farm Distillery, we believe the arts play a powerful role in shaping communities. Art has the ability to transcend cultural boundaries, challenge perspectives, and open new ways of seeing what’s possible in the world around us.
To help foster creativity and cultural exchange, we established The Farmhouse Gallery — a dedicated space designed to bring more opportunities for experiencing the arts at the distillery. The gallery serves as a welcoming venue for exhibitions, gatherings, and conversations that celebrate artistic expression in the Virgin Islands.
We are proud to collaborate with 81C Arts, the non-profit arm of the renowned 81C Gallery in St. Thomas. Over the years, 81C has played an important role in bringing contemporary art to the territory while supporting established, emerging, and local artists.
Analogous
Our collaboration begins with the exhibition Analogous by St. Thomas artist Siyandi, the artist’s premiere full-scale solo presentation of sculpture installations and works on paper. The exhibition explores the intersection of technology, creativity, and environmental impact, contrasting old and new media while questioning the meaning and consequences of innovation. Through this multifaceted collection, Analogous invites viewers to reconsider expectations and interpretations surrounding contemporary Caribbean artists working at the edge of international attention.
Through this partnership, Prosperity Farm Distillery and 81C Arts aim to expand opportunities for artists and audiences across St. Croix, while also growing educational programming for youth that inspires creativity, dialogue, and the next generation of artists in the Virgin Islands.
